The house
With four bedrooms, a living room, a kitchen, and two bathrooms, Savina 6 can comfortably host up to eight people so, even large families or groups of friends can enjoy their stay in this nice home.
Regarding the layout of the house, the basement features a large bar, two storage rooms (one accessible), and a washing machine. Moving to the first floor, you’ll find a hallway, a living room with a fireplace, a dining room, a bathroom with a shower, sink, and separate toilet, and a partial indoor garage. Then, on the second floor, you’ll discover four double or multiple bedrooms, a bathroom with a shower, sink, and toilet, and a covered balcony. Unfortunately, the attic is not accessible.
Access to Savina 6
Lastly, there are a couple of ways to reach Savina 6. You can take a direct road from Rotterdam via Germany (A3), a distance of about 1300 km. Alternatively, you can easily fly to Ljubljana airport and rent a car to reach the house.

Excellent house in a peaceful location with a great view. Owners are also very kind.
The house is located very quietly at the end of a dead end street and can be reached by car from Ljubno in a few minutes. We met our landlord Joop at a gas station and he took us there and showed us everything. He is a very attentive host who responds quickly to questions. In the house there are beautiful bathrooms, wonderfully comfortable mattresses and a very cozy living room with quality furniture. Internet also works perfectly. There is also a fully equipped kitchen with everything you need to cook. Only a dishwasher we missed. Instead, there is a washing machine, which we really appreciated, since we had already spent a week in another part of Slovenia. There is also a fireplace and you can relax on the terrace with a beautiful view of the mountains and the valley. In the surrounding area there are great hiking opportunities, for example, to the Rinka waterfall or the rock gates in Austria. We felt very comfortable in the beautiful house and can recommend it without reservation.
We had a good stay at savina6. It is a nice house with all the trimmings.
Although it was a bit musty on arrival and we have some vacuuming ourselves, but otherwise fine. Do keep in mind that you do have to do everything by car.

Our stay in Savina 6 was in one word “fantasic” the house has nice large living spaces and bed rooms.
The new kitchen, bathrooms and toilet are up to the modern standard.
The surroundings are peacefull and quiet.
Good restaurants and shops near by (+/- 10min drive).
Unfortunatly for us, no snow, but better luck next time.
For sure we will go back again!!
Fantastic place, beautiful house
With pain in our hearts we left this house. We had a wonderful holiday here. The house is spacious with several places to sit. The balcony / roof terrace is lovely even in lesser weather. We used the bar as a game room. But morning breakfast on the terrace overlooking the valley is also delicious. An ideal base for exploring the valley but with two hours you are also at the coast.
Beautiful cottage in a fantastic location
We (family with 2 big kids) enjoyed the cottage as a base for fantastic day trips to the wider area. But also of the cottage itself: all the space, all the amenities you need, peace and quiet and a beautiful view. And if there is a rainstorm the balcony is ideal! Recommendations: walking or car trips in the immediate vicinity. And because of our interest in nature, birds, insects and wild plants: day trips to Logarska Dolina, Panoramic Road at the top of the valley, Golte park, the Nanos mountains (towards the west coast), etc. Also try to do some night-time flying at midnight with the outside lamp on the terrace and a white sheet hung up. You will see beautiful insects! (Because of the Corona situation we have refrained from visiting cities, but with such surroundings you don’t miss it.) Highly recommended (or should we not promote it because of the risk that it gets booked up quickly?) We hope to come back again.

Fantastic location! Very spacious and comfortably furnished. Being woken up by the cows in the meadow, enjoying the phenomenal views every day, and this only 10 minutes walk from Ljubno. Highly recommended for those who want to taste the real slo(w)veniÄ—!

Lovely house, beautiful location.
The space especially around the house, the lovely terrace with stunning views. The shower was especially for our 2 adult sons of 1.90 m that were with us what behelpen the shower head was not adjustable in height so if you’re a bit taller had to stand stooped under, We were here for the second time. Last year with the two of us and the dog, this year we brought our two adult sons. Outside the lovely terrace is also the covered balcony fine so you can sit outside even when it rains. We find Slovenia a fantastic country and it certainly will not be the last time we visit this beautiful country.
In the middle of nature, peace, space, super view!
Beautiful and also central location. From the house you can already make beautiful walks in the immediate vicinity, but also the Golte, Logarska Dolina, Romanov Kot, Lake Velenje are about half an hour away. And definitely worth a visit. Kitchen rather small and dining room very dark. But the large terrace with fantastic views compensates everything. We have had a great week.
