Alpine Dream in Slovenia

General

Located on the Panoramaweg in the Judean Alps, which separates Austria and Slovenia, you will find this fantastically renovated shepherd’s hut for two people. If you are willing to spend the night on the sofa bed, it is possible to experience this fabulous house in peace with 4 people. the house is heated all over the house by underfloor heating and for cosiness the fireplace can also be heated. The beautiful terrace on the edge of the mountain guarantees great views of the Alpine peaks. You can also dine or have a bbq here. You can buy dairy products at the nearby farm. Breakfast with home-baked bread and Slovenian specialties can also be served for an additional fee. The area is wooded and suitable for an extensive walk with the possibility of spotting chamois and deer.

The farm has its own ski slope with a drag lift, making it an ideal place to relax after the intense fun in the snow, even in winter.

Surrounding

Via an exit from the border crossing to Austria you arrive at the Panoramaweg to which Pastirska Hiska Miha. Via the border crossing road you can drive to the village of Solcava or at the bottom of the mountain drive into the national park “Logarska Dolina”. In this par you can walk for days and see where the river “Savinja” originates. It is certainly worthwhile. worth climbing to the origin of the waterfall and having a refreshment in the restaurant located there. On the terrace of the Hotel located in the park, you can enjoy the great view while enjoying a glass. From your accommodation you can drive a visit to the capital of this country Ljubljana in an hour’s drive. It takes a little longer to drive to the tourist town of Bled.
