The OREL apartment-house is situated just 100 meters away from the valley-station of the gondola that takes you to the Golte winter sports and summer recreation area. Located just 4 km from the town of Mozirje, the Zidarn family owns a house and farm nearby, offering you a glimpse of life on and around the farm.
The village of Žekovec (Radegunda) boasts a natural and serene environment, with untouched nature, unpolluted air, natural mountain water, and peaceful tranquility. All of these conditions make for a healthy and rejuvenating vacation.
In the village and surrounding area, you can find a variety of locally-made products, such as honey, natural dried meat products, milk products, home-baked bread, and various alcoholic beverages. During the summer, hiking through the marked mountain trails is an absolute delight. You can also visit the alpine garden, which houses all the trees and plants found in Slovenia, and enjoy the stunning views.
While the Golte ski center (www.golte.si) is not very large, it offers runs for all skill levels and excellently marked trails for cross-country skiers. With its ski equipment rentals and ski school, it is a great area for beginners and advanced skiers alike. As tenants of these apartments, you are entitled to a 10% discount on ski day passes at the winter sports center Golte and a 50% discount on the swimming pool in the Topolsica wellness center.
Apartment Tamara and Appartement Matej can accommodate up to four guests each, and they are both located on the second floor with a bathroom and a kitchen. The house provides ample parking space and has a large garden with toys for children. Additional facilities include a sports store, bike rental, safe parking for several days, access to a washing machine, and WiFi.

Immerse yourself in the serene beauty of the village and surrounding areas while taking care of your health with a leisurely walk or a horseback/carriage ride at Tourist Farm LEVC. You can also explore the Mozirski Gaj flower park or attend one of the vibrant local festivals, or rejuvenate yourself with a dip in the swimming pool at the Toposica spa. Moreover, a bath in the Savija River in the valley is also a refreshing experience.
To experience the breathtaking natural surroundings, take a day trip on the scenic local roads and visit the must-see destinations like the capital of Slovenia, Ljubljana, and the town of Bled.
For more active pursuits, rent an electric or regular bicycle and explore the valley. You can also go swimming in the lake of Velenje, or try canoeing and rafting on the fast-flowing Savinja stream. The Logarska Dolina Nature Park is a must-visit, offering panoramic views of the Savinja valley and the surrounding Alps on the border with Austria.
Take a walk through the forest and mountains or relax in one of the many terraces in the valley. Enjoy exploring the area by horse or carriage, or try trout fishing with a fly rod (license required). For an adrenaline rush, you can even try parasailing from the mountain Golte.
