To further explore the valley, renting an electric or regular bicycle is an excellent way to go. You can also go swimming in the lake of Velenje or try canoeing and rafting on the fast-flowing Savinja stream. Another must-visit destination is the Logarska Dolina Nature Park, which offers panoramic views of the Savinja valley and the surrounding Alps.
For those who enjoy hiking, taking a walk through the forest and mountains is a must-do activity. Moreover, you can relax in one of the many terraces in the valley while enjoying the stunning views. The size of the accommodation was fine. Very friendly flexible landlords.
Four to six people can stay. However, there is only 1 sofa
We stayed at this facility for 10 days. As our stay was only a few days after the flooding, we were worried that we would not be able to go, so we immediately contacted the facility, which responded with total transparency in a short time. In the end, we contacted them again two days before departure for further news, and on that occasion too they responded immediately and very cordially. When we arrived at the property, we were welcomed by the lady who immediately tried to help us with the language, using her mobile phone to translate everything we needed to know.
Flat not very big but also not very small. Just the right size for a family of three adults and two children.
They brought us a welcome drink.
Having the girls have allowed us to use the garden and the games present that in the end you can say it was almost a real playground with lots of wooden house, sandbox, trampoline, etc..
The owners of the property live on the ground floor but have never been intrusive on the contrary always very respectful but leaving us our space. Even one evening they offered us a plate with cake inside which was delicious. In short, they had so many gestures of friendliness that nowadays is not taken for granted, in fact I dare say almost rare.
As a location for the places we were interested in we were about 1 h away, and in some places even 2 h away. But I have to say that we like to drive around, so it was pleasant, and moreover when you returned to the hotel you felt that you were out of the mess, in the middle of the countryside, surrounded by lots of greenery, where children can also play freely in the street without fear. Personally, if I were to return to Slovenia I would very much like to stay at this accommodation again 🙂 I would recommend it.

Nature is great and the flat is fairly central.
After a hot day, you can cool off in the garden.

I very much enjoyed the location of the apartment, surrounded by forests, rivers and farms, and I loved dealing with the host family, they were one of the best and most generous families I have dealt with in my travels, and the apartment is very clean and has everything a tourist needs, and there is a supermarket, restaurants and cafes 5 minutes away by car.
