B&B “Levc” is a former farm with several horses in the stables. The Puncer family has six double rooms with shower and toilet. Some rooms offer the possibility of an extra bed. There is a guest room for meals. Drinks can also be ordered here, some of which are homemade. Once a week, your host Tonna hosts a traditional barbecue in the open air. In addition to horses, there are pigs, chickens, rabbits and a few cats on the farm. In the garden there is some playground equipment for the kids.

The nearby river Savinja is a fine place to take a nice bath is the crystal clear water. Also for the fly fisherman this is an excellent accommodation. The 40 km deep Savinja valley with its cozy villages and at the end the national park Logarska Dolina is at weekends a haven for the inhabitants of Ljubljana and well worth a visit.

Surrounding

Combine your hobby (riding) with a wonderful vacation in the wooded valley of the river Savinja. On horseback, by bike or on foot you can explore the beautiful surroundings and experience the wonderful peace and quiet. In the vicinity are several types of thermal baths. Moreover, there are various sporting possibilities such as beautiful trips by kayak and raft in the Savinja or swimming in the lakes and swimming pools in the area.

A visit to the top of the winter sports center Golte at 1862 meters, where you can still descend from quiet slopes in winter, to the mining museum in Velenje and the caves in the area make a visit to this part of Slovenia an unforgettable experience.

If you want to take a look at the bustling and mundane capital of Ljubljana. You drive there in 45 minutes to go. This is a must, the open farmer’s market and a cruise through this city but especially the terraces with students strolling and the street performing bands are an experience in itself.

A visit to the artists’ quarter with its extravagant paintings is also an experience you don’t often get to see. During a climb to the castle in the center of the city you can see a large part of the city located in a lowland. 20 Kilometers further you can visit the famous caves of Postonja. You will ride a train through long corridors to the fantastic caves accompanied by English or German speaking guides who will show you the only living OLM in these caves, a blind pink colored eel-like animal that lives in the caves for years without food.

A little further you will find the town of Lipiza, the region where the famous Lipizaner horses come from. You can watch a beautiful horse show in the riding school and visit the stables with the stallions selected for breeding. More in the immediate vicinity you will find the lovely towns of Celje and Velenje with its mining museum. This is one of the few places where lignite is mined at depth and not in open pit mines (on the surface).
