Vacation Chalet Zan in Slovenia

General

In a unique location completely free, against the slope of the mountain Raduga in the woods beautiful, spacious vacation chalet. Lots of sunshine and play area for youth. Beautiful hiking area, at the bottom of the mountain the Savinja River for a swim. Large grassy terrace with sun loungers and a modern BBQ. The wooden watchtower ensures a stunning view over the valley with the surrounding small settlements where mainly farmers are located who use the surrounding mountain meadows and also live from the forestry set up centuries ago by their ancestors. Nearby you can hear the babbling mountain water finding its way into the valley.

The ground floor consists of a large sunny living room with open kitchen and the bathroom with bath, sauna and washing machine. In the sitting area is a large screen TV and radio. The dining area seats 8 and has a view of the fireplace. The kitchen is equipped with a partial electric and partial gas stove, kettle, coffee machine Wi-Fi and a good cell phone connection are standard features of this wonderful accommodation. On the upper floor there are 4 double bedrooms which are fully furnished with the necessary bed linen and bath towels. On the lawn is a large B.B.Q after which the prepared food on the large garden table, which stands on the covered terrace, can be consumed.

Surrounding

Via a road that winds along the mountainside and gradually rises, one arrives at the vacation chalet ZAN. This beautiful wooden chalet is built on a sunny and quiet spot against the wooded slope of the Raduha Mountain in the vicinity of the village LUCE. This village is approximately in the middle of the Savinja valley. Here you can book various outdoor activities such as rafting and mountain climbing. A wonderful place for a nice relaxing yet adventurous vacation for the whole family. Around the house is a large lawn where you can sunbathe or play games with the children. The barbecue built on the lawn is the ultimate place to enjoy outdoor dining. In the adjacent forest, the youth can enjoy themselves building tree houses and searching for small wildlife. For the hiker/mountaineer there are unlimited possibilities.

Electric /Bike you can in the nearby Nazarje so you can also easily take the small slopes on your routes. 

Location

The house is situated on a mountain plateau near Luce in the Savinja valley. From the house you can make great walks to e.g. the nearby ice cave or to the top of the mountain Raduha to enjoy the great view. At the nearby farm you can buy dairy products and homemade products such as salami and cheese. The youth is welcome at this farm to get acquainted with small-scale farming with its high degree of self-sufficiency.

Activities

Whitewater rafting on the fast-flowing Savinja.

Spend a day exploring the Logarska Dolina nature park flanked by the Austrian Alps and have a good glass or a meal at the hotel present there with a lovely terrace.

Parasailing from Mount Golte.

Walk through the Mozirski Gay flower park.

A visit to the capital Ljubljana and/or the legendary town of Bled with its intensely blue lake-water.

Day of sunbathing and lazing on the amazing sun terrace while the kids have fun in the woods.
